Restorative Justice Circles
Restorative justice is an approach to understanding and addressing harm and wrongdoing. It engages those who were involved and impacted to act to repair the harm and prevent it from happening again.
The general purpose of using the tool - is to solve the conflict in a healthy way and establish long-lasting connections between different sides of the dialogue.
The tool is a practitioner training on how to use the approach of Restorative Justice Circles while working with different categories of the population to help them to solve the conflicts and restore the harm. It can be used while working with refugees, that are not accepted by the local population, at schools, families, with police officers.
The tool is presented in a form of a workshop with providing Pre-Circle, Circle and Follow-up scenarios as well as practicing the Restorative Justice Circle as well. Materials needed: markers, pen, flip-chart, projector.

The expected outcomes of the tool - is introducing the way how to use the Restorative Justice Circles while working with different categories of the target audience, introducing the basic scenarios for running the Restorative Justice (including Pre-Circle, Circle and Follow-Up). The participants will look into the newest research on ACEs and how they influence human behavior and look into ways how to adapt Restorative Justice into their work.
