From Varna Airport the best connection is to get a public Bus service. Bus number 409 goes to Golden Sands resort - Aksakovo – Varna Airport – Vl. Varnenchik Blvd – Bus terminal – Varna - Cathedral – Dolphinarium – St.Constantine and Helena resort – Golden Sands resort. *approximately 45 mins by bus during day and 35 mins at low traffic hours (from airport) * tickets can be bought only on board of the bus, but you need to pay in Bulgarian currency. The BUS terminal is located outside Terminal 2 and the ticket price is 1.00 BGN. You may be charged extra if your luggage is too large. The price of going from the airport to the hotel by taxi may vary between 30 and 50 BGN.
If you decide to go by taxi you better order one from the official taxi stand inside the arrivals hall. Do not taka a taxi off the street and do not trust people inside arrivals that would offer you a lift (although they might be wearing badges).
The official language is Bulgarian.
