This report is about a seminar designed for exchanging and at sharing of good practices in the field of the education for peace, in the EuroMed context and the situation of neighborhood between some countries of the region.

Aim: 

This seminar on "Peace Education" aimed at developing - in an environment of tolerance, care and respect - skills, attitudes and knowledge with co-operative and participatory learning methods.

Methodology: 

The course was based on the principles and practices of non-formal education and is conceived according to a learner - centered approach based on active and interactive methods. Participants need to self organize part of the activities and thus take a personal responsibility for their learning process.
They should be open for an experiential learning experience.
They will be in a situation to share their practice, to test tools and methods, to analyse and to produce common material.
Preparatory work for participants: participants were requested to do the following compulsory preparatory work.
• to refresh their knowledge about the YOUTH programme by reading the EuroMed User’s Guide.
• to bring ideas for energizers, evening games.
• to bring materials about their own country (maps, pictures, brochures, video, DVD, etc.).
• to bring materials about their own organisation (brochures, posters, video, DVD, etc.).
• to participate to the e-group created for this course.
To bring for the intercultural evening:
• Food and/or drinks.
• Music, dance, poetry (to be shown or taught).
• Traditional costumes.
