
Paul Kloosterman has been working in the international educational field for many years as a trainer, consultant, researcher and writer. He has been and still is involved in training courses for trainers, teachers, policy makers and youth workers. In the last 10 years he has been focusing mainly on the topic of Learning to Learn. He is one of the authors of the book ‘Handbook for facilitators, Learning to Learn in practice’ and ‘Learning to Learn, International perspectives from theory and practice’. He was a member of the Crell–Research network on Learning to Learn for the European Commission and is still a member of the Youthpass Advisory Group, responsible for the implementation of Youthpass in the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme. In the last 4 years he has been involved in different research projects focusing on Learning to Learn and Self-Directed Learning.
