
Farkhanda has a background in the fields of equalities, community development and training. She started her career in youth work and anti-racist practice. She has worked on key areas such as race and poverty in Scotland; religious diversity and interfaith dialogue; gender equality in an international context and capacity building within the NGO sector. She is a community activist within the Muslim community and believes that a strong civil society is an important stakeholder in promoting justice and peace-building. As a trainer/facilitator she has worked in many international projects and she absolutely loves working with people from different backgrounds and cultures. Currently she is working within a public sector organisation in Scotland.
