The TOOL FAIR XVI will take place in Marseille

The arrival of the participants is planned for the 21st of November and departure on the 25th of November after breakfast.

Please get in touch with your National Agency (the National Agency for Erasmus + Youth in your country) or Regional SALTO Resource Centre about the organization and booking of your travel (procedures, costs, visa..) and other related issues and book your travel/flights.

You need to book your arrival flight to Marseille airport, with arrival on 21st of November 2022

You can easily reach Mercure Marseille Centre Vieux Port hotel by public transport (bus) or taxi (only if previously agreed with your National Agency / SALTO). Depending on the transportation and connections it can take you between 30 – 50 minutes.

  • Departures should be booked for 25th November, after breakfast.

  • We will assure you your accommodation from 21st to 25th November 2022, in single rooms. Meals will start from 21st November dinner to 25th November breakfast. No extra days/nights or meals can be booked.

  • Please keep in mind that French National Agency for Erasmus + Youth in  Action only covers your accommodation and meals during the implementation of the activity. International travel costs, local travel costs to the activity venue, and other related costs are not covered or reimbursed by the French NA.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Please make sure that you have valid insurance for the dates of the activity and all the time you will spend in France or traveling. Note that this is not reimbursed.

  • In addition, for the participants who have the European Health Insurance Card, please take it with you. For the ones who don’t have such a card yet, maybe get your card before departure, this is normally free of charge.

  • French NA will not cover or reimburse PCR tests (linked with your travel – if applicable), quarantine costs, vaccines, costs related to hospitalization during and after the activity, and other related costs.

French NA will give you the needed support, but we would like to highlight that the participant is fully responsible for their own covid management.

You will not receive any Infopack before the activity because all updated information is reported on the website dedicated to ITF XVI on the present page.

WHERE WE WILL WORK:

Working rooms will be at the World Trade Center Marseille Provence. It is directly connected to the Mercure Marseille Vieu Vieux Port hotel. At the doorsteps of the Jardin des Vestiges and a 2 min walk from the Vieux Port, The World Trade Center Marseille Provence boasts 3000 sqm of adjustable spaces. In the heart of Marseille, in the city’s most bustling historic district, the City Center Vieux-Port is a 2,600 sqm high-tech business complex that offers space for conferences, offices, coworking, language training, and an international club for companies.

The ITF XVI plenary sessions will be held in Océanie. Tool Workshops and Tool To Explore activities will run in the rooms: Shangai, Athènes, Stockholm, Rome, Cancun, Delhi. Learning corners will be available in the boxes in Agorà common area and the EU HOT SPOT will be available in the patio in front of the room Moscou.
